This was a great event. Dave Rudge is a great speaker and was super gracious with his time, talking with anyone who wanted to ask questions and chat beer. His enthusiasm really is infectious.

Even living in the west, I haven't had the opportunity to try a lot of Half Pints, save for Humulus, Weisenheimer and the Pothole Porter, so it was great to finally get to try many of the beers for the first time. I found their amber to be a super drinkable session beer, with more hop character than most amber ales. Phils Pils is simply outstanding. I wish it wasn't seasonal. The Riggamarole Rye was the highlight of the night. Not surprisingly, if you've heard the history of the barrels they are using, the spiciness of the rye wove together very nicely with the barrel ageing. A great time.
