Les Brasseurs du Temps to bottle up

Post by Brews Phillips »

BDT bottling news from the blogosphere:

http://thewaffle.blog.com/2011/02/10/le ... bottle-up/

"The first beer to be bottled will be the DumDuminator, a red Doppelweizenbock with a whopping 8% alc./vol."

"There is no point for us to bottle and sell a light, innoffensive blonde", said Geoffroy. "

Indeed, I spent my valentine's evening capping those beauties.

If the smell was any indication, this should be a very good bottling. I totally agree with the banana notes, but more on the banana bread side for me.

Great looking bottles also. 750ml Unibroue style, but with a pull-off cap (very well capped :) might I add, lol).

These should sell fast, but there will be many, many more bottlings in their future if they keep up the amazing brewing. Dominique, Larry and Scott are an amazing team that make great, consistent, high-quality brews. (BTW La Pommée was on tap when I was there... and Charlevoix's Saison... WOW)

Cheers!

I'm hopefully going today for lunch. I'll be picking up some beer to go.

Sorry cfrancis,

Since "Dum Duminator' is bottled conditioned, it will not be ready for sale for approximately 3 weeks.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

This Monday March 7, we delivered Dum Duminator to Marché Omni, both La Trappe à Fromage (Hull & Gatineau), Dépannier Rapido, BrouHaHa and La Brûlerie.
Of course, bottles are for sale at the pub also.

Cheers

Ha Ha Sammy,

I think you need new glasses.

For the bottling squad, we hired an octopus!
Left us free to concentrate on quality control.

Burp :'D'
