Newfoundland Beer Revolution

Post by groulxsome »

Muskoka Brewery has ushered in a beer revolution in Newfoundland by releasing the first ever regular listed American IPA in the NLC. You thought trying to get Westy in Ontario was bad? Try getting one of these cans today!

Following the chat over on beertheif.ca (import club who have thus far private ordered DDC, Charlevoix, and Flying Monkeys - Propeller is next) is pretty great. I'm just happy I don't have to bring a suitcase full of Mad Tom cans home every time now (just Red Racer, Boneshaker, Founders...).

Big props to Muskoka. Seriously!

That's great! Being from the East Coast, and a frequent supplier of beer for my buddies back there I sympathise. Puts the complaints about the beer-life here in ON in perspective for sure. Great that you NL folks have been so proactive with that beer club.

Really smart move by Muskoka. I am really surprised that Garrison or Propeller have never tried harder to get into NL. Muskoka being the first to plant a solid hoppy IPA flag is great for them for sure.

New post about it on Muskoka's Facebook. Only $1.03 more than in Ontairo, so just 35% more expensive. I forgot how much beer better beer prices are here...
