Meh black IPAs are one of my least favourite styles. I prefer juicy hazy turbid IPAs followed west coast dank and resins IPAs. I've always found black IPAs just to not meet my expectations.
Everytime I learn something new I forget something old...like that time I learned to make wine and then forgot how to drive...

Agreed, It wasn't a bad beer, however I felt like i was drinking a dark ale of brown ale, if I wanted an IPA that would not be my choice, but I had to try it.
