Affligem Blonde Singles Spotted

Post by Belgian »

Funny how the LCBO just randomly leaks out stock of desirable, interesting beer once in a while without any fanfare.

If you seach LCBO.COM you will find Toronto stores with AFFLIGEM BLONDE which means you don't have to commit to buying a whole case or the whole gift-pack for yourself just to try it.

I know Peter at ESPRIT has been promoting AFFLIGEM, it is well-made stuff, so maybe grab a few blondes to take home & party with. Trust me it's well worth trying before it's gone.

Affligem Blonde was part of the LCBO's autumn release, so it was on the shelves back in September before the gift box was available. I found it to be a decent enough Belgian, but nothing mindblowing.

Affligem is, I believe, handled by Guy McClelland who also brings in Friuli (sp?) and Erdinger Weissbier (in draught form).
