So the UK is getting 50000 to 60,000 cases of Rogue a year. I wonder how much we get right next door to the US.

Another downer is that it is also cheaper to buy once it's in the UK than it is when we can find it here. It just don't make sense :x

We get better prices than some Americans don't we?

It's all about 'average profit margin' - they have to get what they can in various markets to stay healthy overall. I never resent that (Volkswagens are cheaper in Holland than Germany, same thing.)

Our retail price in Ontario for Rogue Half-E-Weizen is $4.95 and we hope to be able to hold that price point for future Rogue offerings. By comparison, the average price of Rogue 650ml bottles in the U.K. today is GBP3.49 a bottle, or about CAD7.45. A quick search of a few U.S. beer outlets shows a price of about USD4.79 OR about CAD5.75 and in B.C. two currently listed Rogues go for CAD5.32 and CAD5.55 and B.C. would pay a fraction of the freight costs that Ontario has to pay. So, as you can see, the price in Ontario is incredibly competitive and probably amongst the best in the world, if not the best.

True. Though I get all misty-eyed thinking about the days when bombers went for $3.25, it's rare to see any bomber for less than $4.50 these days. Paying $4.95 for a Rogue, which is a pretty good guarantee of a clean, well-brewed, flavourful beer, is nothing to get pissy about. It's a fair price for a solid beer.
