Dieu du Ciel Aphrodisiaque

Post by maryjaneslovechild »

Head is average, frothy, tan, long lasting. Body is black (opaque). Real cocoa comes through in the smell, with hints of vanilla and light coffee. Roasted malts and bourbon on the taste buds. Creamy body. Very enjoyable.

While it's also great in bottle there's nothing like the aroma of Aphrodisiaque fresh on tap right on DDC's Rue Laurier brew pub in Mile End, Montreal.

A 'must do before you die' beer pilgrimage... and just hope they have it on!

One of my go-to beers, especially in the winter months.
