I was at C'est What this week, and they had slightly refreshed their beer menu, for the first time in ages (or so it seemed).

They had a new brew from Robinson in Mississauga, St. George Ale, quite a nice brew. They also had Church Key & Blanche de Chambly, both rarities in TO.

As you know, I had the St. George last week at the Winking Judge in Hamilton, and I'm a big fan. This has a LOT of hops (and not goldings - somebody finally listened!) and a fair bit of fruity notes (mostly blackberries and raspberries). A good lingering bitterness (58 IBUs) and refreshing finish really make this one of the more enjoyable pints out there right now.

It was supposed to be the re-incarnation of Dragon's Breath, but it is not. It's still worth seeking out, though.
