It looks like Vintages isn't quite finished releasing beers yet. Coming out on October 6th will be two popular lambics, Mort Subite Cassis & Kriek.

Maybe somebody forget to tell them that lambics are beers. Not that I'm complaining. Aside from being two of my brother's favourites, those two represent one last kick at the can for us lambic lovers as soon all of our favourites may be gone. I think both Lindemans and Boon are on their way out so unless you think Belle Vue is lambic, Mort Subite is all we have left.

I forgot to mention that these two products were going to be on the October VINTAGES release. There is also a good supply of the Mort Subite Peche still available as well. We also handle Lindemans and this is the last we'll see of Lindemans for some time as they have withdrawn from the Canadian market and are focusing production on their U.S. and U.K. draft business.

Peter, is Lindeman's coming out for one last time at Vintages or the LCBO then?

Just an FYI on the subject of lambics, I was at the Bayview Village LCBO today, and they still had a fair amount of Boon Kriek & Framboise. It looks like they want to clear them out, because they are discounted about $0.50 or so.

Cass, the Lindemans Peche on the shelves today which is being discounted is the last of Lindemans we'll see for quite some time.
