Day 11:
Phillips Dr. Funk Dunkel - Quite good by domestic standards, right up there with a fresh Denison's on-tap.
3.75 (BA=3.31; RB=3.1; UT=3.63)
Newport Storm India Point Ale - This doesn't have the aroma and late-hop flavour of some contemporary brews, but there's a solid bitterness and a classic hopping, with a nice crisp finish. A really good drinker... wish I had more!
4 (BA=3.86; RB=3.22; UT=3.33)

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Beer Advent Calendars
Day 10:
Phillips Phoenix Gold Lager - more body & flavour than a macro brew, easy drinking, but not very enticing.
3 (BA=3.5; RB=2.54; UT=3.330
Back Forty Truck Stop Honey Brown - Like many North American Honey Brown's, this is barely brown at all, light honey sweetness. I wonder if they use Gambrinus Honey Malt.
3 (BA=3.56; RB=2.88; UT=3.41)
Day 19:
Newport Storm Blueberry - It's alright for what it is, has some nice blueberry aroma & flavour, but basically a fizzy blonde ale with no other character or head.
2.75 (BA=3.3; RB=2.87; UT=3.31)
Phillips Skookum Cascadian Brown Ale - The original Black Toque was the first regularly bottled Cascadian Dark Ale. It confused a few people and Beer Advocate even had it listed as a British IPA for many years. Eventually they tweaked the recipe and rebranded it as Skookum (local Chinook jargon that has come to mean impressive/awesome/well-done), but I don't why the marketing geniuses went with CBA? It's still a Skookum brew, but no longer available in bombers.
4 (BA=3.9; RB=3.53; UT=3.55)
That's it, they're done!
I'm planning to review these ratings at some point, but in the mean time, here's some reflections from another blog:
