Black Ridge Brewery Milk Stout

From a relatively new SK brewery.

Recently found on the shelf out west.

Price is great. It has a middleweight heaviness for the style. No significant alcohol comes through in the taste like some of the supercharged stout offerings. The taste is typical coffee roast, somewhat singular without much complexity. The mouth feel has that silky component I've found with good milk stouts. And the finish brings out the milk stout nuance with a bit of a carnation milk flavour.

Overall, very good and recommended.

It's nice to see a milk stout from a Canadian brewer.
