Make sure he grabs you bottles. I believe the DDH Headstock is only in bottles and growler fill, while the DDH Naughty Neighbor is only in bottles, as far as I was told.

Not that I am aware of.......:)
If the word is that these are really good then I'll likely stock up. Otherwise, will probably just buy a couple bottles.

That sounds good. I'll try to get down to pick some up. When it's on, Headstock's a really good beer.

I'm not sure about the pricing... but, last year only sawdust had the legal rights to sell the 11.05 collaboration out of their shop... because, Ontario.

Also, I'm currently drinking/enjoying/rejoicing the first good headstock Nickelbrook has put out in months (can date of october 21st - look closely for the black ink on black label folks!).

grabbed a few bottles of the DDH nn and headstock. i'm not a huge nickel brook fan but these beers are stellar. should change the respective recipes and just put these out on the reg. was gonna grab some of the peach uber everyones raving about but it was only in growlers so i got the standard one.

Drank the DDH Naughty Neighbour and Headstock, as well as 11/05. I wish I did a blind tasty between the DDH and regular beers, but, I did not. I found the DDH NN similar to the regular NN, but hops a bit more pronounced. Picked up some Citrus on the nose and in the taste that I don't recall before. Very nice. They should make this the regular NN version. I hadn't had Headstock in a long time....so don't know how this compares. I prefer the DDH NN to the DDH Headstock.

The 11/05 was okay. I really dont need an 11% saison, however, if you want to get drunk quick this will help do the trick.

Had the DDH NN but haven't head the DDH Headstock yet. I really enjoyed the DDH NN. It was very similar to the regular version with a little but more of a fresh and vibrant hop character, as you would expect. The point about doing a side-by-side is a good one, as that would likely highlight the differences more. Overall, it was solid and I would be happy to drink it again, but it did not blow me away.

Stopped by the brewery for the first time yesterday. Picked up a bunch of beer and some bottles of their root beer and ginger beer. The root beer is excellent. Haven't tried the ginger beer yet, planning on making some dark 'm stormies with it. Will report back.

Will also echo what others are saying about the DDH beers. Both are great. I think the DDH NN is much better than the regular NN. The Headstock was also great but didn't taste a huge difference compared to when it was great in the late spring. Definitely glad it's back to tasting how it should. Totally agree with everyone that these should be the new recipes for those beers. I'd gladly pay more.

Isn't Burlington part of the GTA?
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

Last time I checked it was. :)

There is even a GO Train station not too far from the brewery!
