I'm looking for a nitro stout or esb on draught for a bar in Kingston. Are there any breweries doing this besides Mill Street and St. Ambroise?

Stone City has a good stout in Ships in the Night which they often put on nitro in house.

Napanee's Blacklist, while not a stout, is really good and fills that black beer void quite nicely.

Parsons in picton has been doing some pretty good stuff as well.

Which bar?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but any stout can be a nitro stout if it is poured through a nitro tap.

I think you're right. I've had some great porters on Nitro (Hey Porter at Club 3030 and Clifford Porter at Craft Brassiere). It was just the preference of the bar manager to hock them up that way.

I don't think you can just hook up any porter or stout to a creamer tap and expect it to pour like St. Ambroise oatmeal stout or mill st cobblestone stout. Like take a keg of Great Lakes harry porter for example! If I'm wrong then my bad. Any brewers care to comment?

At a recent Stone City tap takeover at Arabella Park in Kitchener, they had a Best Bitter on nitro.
