G&P No Longer Sell to Homebrewers

Postby J343MY » Wed Jan 14, 2015 1:45 pm

Just got this reply:

"I have sad news for you - we are no longer able to sell to home brewers as we are not a retailer."

This is some shit. I usually just go down by myself and grab a few sacks as I need them, but is this going to affect group buys also?

Yeah we've been discussing this over on the SOB board. Direct group buys are out, although Patrick from OBK has offered to basically act as a proxy buyer and get it drop shipped to somewhere in the GTA

To clarify: Home brew clubs will now have to be registered as a business with all the various numbers etc. in place in order to do a group buy. They have not cut off connections with the clubs, just the manner in which they do business with them.

We're working through this in Cambridge/KW/Guelph and environs as GRAB.
