Homebrew shop in central Toronto - from a tourist

Post by oisinboydell »

Hi,

I'm a homebrewer from Ireland and I'm in Toronto at the moment for a week. Can anyone suggest any homebrew shops in central Toronto or nearby where I could pick up some hops and speciality malts etc. while I'm here?

Also I'm thinking of going up to Bar Volo (http://www.barvolo.com/) at some stage to sample some local brews. Is this place recommended? They have a good selection of beers according to their web site.

Thanks,
Oisin.

I can't help you with the homebrewing question as I don't brew myself, but I can tell you that Volo is a fantastic place to visit and sample some local brews.

You'll also find a great selection of Ontario and Quebec craft beers at C'est What - http://www.cestwhat.com - and beerbistro - http://www.beerbistro.com

Enjoy your visit to Toronto!
