A good way to spend a couple grand if you're feeling flush. Many 3 vessel home brewers may eventually sink that much into their kit, but I don't know many who could do it all at once like that.JesseMcG wrote:Just wondering what you pros think of this setup and cost?

I suppose these systems would be nice to have, but the cost is prohibitive for most. I have spent maybe $300 on equipment that essentially serves the same purpose and makes very good beer. I'm brewing beers that I'm more than happy with using a keggle and a zap pap, cost me about 100 bucks and half of that was for the bulkhead on the keggle. If you are spending that amount of money, even though it's a 15 gallon system, I'd be looking to spend a bit more and get pumps and an automated system. They're pretty much offering burners and pots.

I brew in 3 58L sanke kegs. Two cost me around $80.00 each and the other one was from Paddock Wood about 10 years ago. $600.00. Two 3000 watt electric elements. So I am roughly a little under half what this system is. That buys a lot of malt. It is nice though. Would I buy it if I didn't put my own together? Nope.
