Beau’s Oktoberfest & Members of Barleyment Annual Homebrew Competition - 2013
The Members of Barleyment are pleased to announce a homebrew competition to be judged in September of 2013.
The grand prize winner will get to brew their own recipe at Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company. Additional prizes (to be announced) will be offered up by other brewery and merchandise partners. Stay tuned for further prize details!
People’s Choice winner will receive a $250 certificate redeemable for Beau’s merchandise. Both winners earn the great honour of having their name inscribed on the Beau’s cup!
Results of our competition will be included in the Canadian Brewer of the Year and the Brewer of the Year competitions!
This event is 2 competitions in 1!
The first is a BJCP-sanctioned competition:
All beer categories in the 2008 BJCP Style Guidelines will be accepted (Categories 1-23).
An additional category, designated “Category 99, Black IPA”, will also be accepted.
Each brewer can submit a maximum of one entry per subcategory.
The second is a People's Choice competition
Attendees of Beau’s Oktoberfest 2013 will take part in judging your homebrew!
Each brewer must enter at least one beer (two bottles) in the People’s Choice
