Carboys for sale

Post by JasonTremblay »

Hi Folks,

I'm clearing out some carboys from the basement.

5X 6 gallon
2X 5 gallon
1x 3 gallon (?)

$100 for all of them -- the approx. retail value of new ones from CHS is just under $300 + tax.

They're as is. I just washed them with Oxi, but 2 or 3 have some flecks of schmutz (about the size raspberry seeds, which might indeed be what they are) that I'm too lazy to scrub out with a brush.

I'd rather not part them out. But hey, if there are no takers I'm open to offers.

So ... it's a sellers' market?

:)

They retail for a hair under $40 here, http://www.torontobrewing.ca/servlet/th ... boy/Detail

Or $46 here, http://www.homebrewsupplies.ca/product/ ... ss-carboy/

And if you're fermenting in a 6, you might want to age in a 5 ...

I might even throw a glass of my latest Berliner. But you gotta hurry -- it's so tasty it might be done soon.

This is also the most blatantly manipulative post I'll ever make.

how soon are you looking to get these out of your way? Don't think I can get down there this week.

if you sell sharpie those two 6's he wants, I'll give you $65 for the rest. I can usually get 'em used at 2/$25 from a local wine shop a few times a year, so you'd have to beat that price to coax me into the city for pickup.

Hi guys,

I'm at Jane / Dundas. They're good to go for pick up Th or Fr evening, daytime is a little harder to arrange.

I'll even sweeten the offer to $90 just to see them all go.

You can reach me at shacklands <at> gmail.com

Cheers!
Jason
