Fall Beer Fest Winking Judge

Post by Hamilton Brian »

I was there last night and made the inquiry. The fest is scheduled for October 7th, 2 to 6pm. Tickets, at $40, should be available next week.

Excellent! After missing the York festival, it'll be nice to go to this one. I've always enjoyed the Judge fests.

Any word on brewers in attendance for this one? Or what they're bringing?

Perry? Ken? Michael?

I'm debating going to this now, as I'll be going to the Volo cask day.

Who else is planning to go to this?

The Judge was my pub of choice while I was at school and I'd love to attend this event.

Can anyone give me any info on how it works? Do they set up things upstairs? On the patio? Does it get really crowded?

Hi All Y'all

We'll be at the judge and not too late like normal.
As usual we will be harvesting hops from the Judges patio sometime this week and doing our special once a year only nicotine infused hops (have you seen the activity on the patio, makes stelco look like a marshmellow roast!!!) in our cask of Pale Ale
Probably bring out some summer saison (hey it was summer yesterday)
and some nut brown.
Look forward to seeing and chatting with a lot of you then.

cheers
ken

Check again today or tomorrow. "Some woman" has 10 tickets put aside and if she didn't claim them yesterday, they said they would open them up. I found this out as a friend tried to get a ticket on the weekend.

Fortunately I have mine :D

Good times yesterday, as my head will attest. Good to meet JWalter and Steve E there. I loved the Black Oak keg...I went back to it several times. Perry, sorry to have missed and hope all is well.

Thanks Judge...it was fun!
