Welcome to the site, Chris.

Cask Days is a weekend-long cask ale festival at Volo, a restaurant/bar on Yonge Street that is a strong supporter of good beer.

Looking over your upcoming ideas section of your website:

raspberry porter 3.0
oolong orange blossom pale ale
chocolate vanilla stout

Those would be interesting to try. I haven't had a choc-vanil stout that's beaten Dieu du Ciel's yet. *drool*

How about a kickass maple somethingorother? None of the maple beers I've tried equal Schoune's 2005 version which wasn't shy about the maple. Or a banana chocolate stout/porter? A chipotle beer?

Yes...I have a sweet tooth... except for the last one. That's just morbid curiousity. :P

hehe, i haven't updated the website lately, but those are all things that interest me. there's a bunch of recipes and a couple blog entries that i need to add too.

eric and i have been bouncing around a few ideas. we know one that'll definitely make an appearance, and we have some other ideas. i just brewed a raspberry wheat recently, so i'd probably skip that one. the oolong would be neat, but i think it'll take a couple tries to get it just right, so i might skip that one this time. the stout is a possibility, but not one that we were necessarily considering right now. i haven't played with vanilla, and it's been a long time since i did chocolate.

a few vague hints:
- the hopocalypse will return. though, sometimes when directors rerelease it's not quite in the original form.
- there will be something for the non-hopheads too. with balls.

for anything else, you'll have to wait and see...

I missed it last year so I would love to see the hopocalypse again!

"Tickets are on sale for one afternoon only (sorry but it's the only way we can manage it).

Tickets available Sunday September 30, 11p-2.30p"

I assume that's actually 11am-2:30 pm?
