Awesome awesome news. Very happy to see some more PQ beers here. Hope everyone can put their quibbles about CW aside and come out to this event.

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Personally thought that was the weakest of their brews; or the one I tried wasn't that special. Now the Saison........................that's a yummy special beer.

There's now a proviso for Hopfenstark Saison Station 55 on the C'est What? website: "if it can be expedited through the LCBO import process".

Uh oh.

I wonder what will happen if it doesn't come through in time? Presumably it will still be available at C'est once it actually clears the redtape. Big kudos to George for deciding to bring in this fine brewer. I took my dad around half a dozen of the best bars in Toronto, and he like C'est What the most. Not a bad choice at all!

It's unclear whether the LCBO import process is holding up only the 55 OR all three.

A little birdie says that it's all three.

Makes sense. If it were just the one it would seem odd unless it alone failed lab testing.

That sucks for the event if they don't clear in time. They are the biggest draw for me.

Unfortunately mentions of Hopfenstark has been removed from the event page. I guess it didn't get through the LCBO. A real bummer.

Looks like the list has been updated again. I don't remember seeing these there before:
Black Oak - Wasabi Pale Ale
King Brewery - Unfiltered Hopped-Up Pilsner
Neustadt - Elderbrah (cask)
