I do not think there is a thread yet. I saw this on facebook today:

October 30th-November 1st is Cask Days 09. The days are divided as such:

Friday session1: 4pm-8pm
Friday session 2: 9pm-1am

Saturday session 3(Brewers Breakfast): 9am-3pm
Saturday session 4: 4pm-8pm
Saturday session 5: 9pm-1am

Sunday: TBA

Volo is looking for volunteers as well, details here:

Sadly this will be the first one I miss - that's the start of deer hunting season. Have fun everyone, I do not want to hear anything about it :) .

Best of luck to Ralph and crew for another successful best beer event in the city.

Awesome! It seems to be a couple weeks later, which is good (I thought I'd miss it with other travel plans)... though I should be sober for Halloween.

Cask Days 2009 Tickets go on sale @ 12:00 Noon

Does the Volo crew realize that's the Thanksgiving weekend?

I guess I'll be the first to ask: Anyone who's in town that weekend willing to pick up two tickets for me? We will very likely be up north with family that weekend.

Do the tickets usually sell out quickly? I won't be in Toronto over Thanksgiving weekend either.

Better. At least most people will be in town but now we'll be playing hooky from work. Maybe I'll schedule my last vacation day and have an extra long weekend.

Maybe that'll discourage people from lining up really early like previous years...

Thanks for the info Troy. Ralph will never keep everyone happy with ticket sale dates - especially on this site! - but it is a wise move to move the date from Thanksgiving Sunday.

With so many sessions and a no ticket needed Sunday, there is going to be plenty of cask beers for everyone.

I've contacted Tomas to find out if the on-sale time has changed along with the on-sale date. Being a weekday, perhaps they'll wait to put them on sale after work.
