I know Ralph took some heat for that and steered away from homebrew craft for following years, thanks to pencil pushing Bcrats! It was kinda sad to see the Great Biergotters sweeping the floors and collecting garbage last caskdayz event but I guess they were doing it for The Cause, which was admirable.
thanks for the kind words! yeah, we were there for "the cause". ralph has done a ton for craft and cask beer in ontario, and whether we've got beer involved or not it's an even to support.

but don't think those bureaucrats can keep us down. you haven't heard the last of us!

and congrats to the guys for the best in show win and to beaus for brewing it. we got our own "best in show" at the NHC canadian regional and were supposed to brew it (our old ale) at bushwakker, but i guess our shoes were too big to fill and it never quite came together. i look forward to checking this one out!

Well, perhaps if a CABA member (like yourself) posted some info about these events to the Events forum, more BarTowellers would show up!

Just sayin'...

I agree! Just tell me where awesome beer is and there's a good chance I'll be there.

I have my tickets for the 4-8pm Saturday session at Volo.

Thanks for posting, T! This list looks excellent, and its great to see some new brewers take part. I've managed to narrow the must-try list down to 24 beers.

Nope, you'll either have to buy them in advance from Volo or get someone else to get them for you.

A few sessions are sold out, but there's also a few still available as per the latest site version: http://www.caskdays.com

But it'll still cost you $10 on Sunday if you don't have an official glass; free if you keep and turn up with your glass from the previous 2 days.

Tomas just dropped me a line to let me know that Volo will open early at 2:00pm rather than 4:00pm on Mon-Thu this week for the English Ales and IPA events.
