Belgian Beer Dinner - Saturday, February 22nd, 2003 at 6:00 pm in the Premier Café.
Chef Diane Riedel and the rest of our kitchen staff will be preparing a wonderful gourmet meal – 5 courses plus dessert, each course paired with a different beer. $40(US) per person, pre-payment and pre-registration required.

APPETIZER – Fruit salad prepared with Liefman’s Framboise and served with Troublette (Brasserie Caracole)

SOUP – Cream of Belgian Endive Soup prepared with Troubadour ale and served with Vervifontaine Red

SALAD – Belgian Cheese Salad, served with Hanssens Oudbeitje, Vintage 2001

FIRST MAIN COURSE – Mussels with Trappist Ale and Asparagus prepared with Rochefort 10, served with Binchoise Blonde Ale

MAIN COURSE – Chicken Braised in Belgian Beer, with Braised Cabbage and garlic Mashed Potatoes (prepared with duchesse de Bourgogne), served with Victory V-10

DESSERT – Belgian Chocolate Ganache, caramel, and toasted Hazelnuts in a Marbled Butter Tart Shell with Raspberry Honey Sauce, served with St. Bernardus Abt 12
