Beau's Oktoberfest - Oct 2nd and 3rd

Post by Bytowner »

I'm shattered that I'll be out of country at the time, but here are the details for anyone lucky enough to be around. From the looks of the stellar food lineup, this could be a major culinary event in the NCR. From the looks of the beer lineup, it's definitely the best beer event in the Region.

I'll also be headed there with the wife and kid.

I'll be wearing a baby on my belly and probably my oktoberfest mug-hat I got in Munich.

Come say hi if you see me.

I was at the brewery yesterday and I got to try a bit of a preview of the Dunkel and the Pilsner they are making for the event. Both were awesome, although I asked and it looks like they will only be available on tap during the event. not bottled for sale at the retail store. Which is too bad since like I mentioned both were excellent. Although they did say that they would likely make them again in the coming years as seasonals.

We will bottle about 1/3 of each batch for sale at our retail store, but we expect that all of it will be sold before Oktoberfest is over. Anything leftover will likely go directly to our livers for further processing.
