the Nickel Brook and the Sour KRaut are the only 2 that I'd be excited about.

Started with a Beaus Mr. Hyde, followed by a MacLeans Broadsword and a Black Oak Hop Bomb is on deck

Not as crowded as I expected, but the Karma Citra has already run dry

Good to see Cass (albeit he was leaving), Doug and other familiar faces. I thought the Nicklebrook Imperial Stout, aged with wood chips soaked in bourbon, was outstanding. Apart from the excellent flavour, it had perfect real ale carbonation.

I liked the bitter from Niagara College too, it was much like an English bitter. The hop type seemed semi-English, perhaps Ontario-grown, I'd be curious to know what it was.

Had a couple of other beers that weren't quite to my taste but none that were sour, infected or otherwise off. Excellent event.

A very nice event with some tasty beers. Congratulations to the Victory guys for putting it together; hope the new boss was happy with it.
