National Capital Craft Beer Week 2013 Homebrew Competition

Post by codfishh »

Hey Guys, I know it's short notice but I wanted to pass along the following information regardless.

2013 National Capital Homebrewing Competition

MASHING IN
The 2nd annual National Capital Homebrewing Competition (NCHBC) is the National Capital region’s official annual competition and showcase of home-brewed beer. Amateur brewers from across the region and beyond can submit their home-crafted ales and lagers for a chance to win some great prizes, candid feedback on the results of their brewing, and the status of winning the title of “Best in Show”. The competition’s first year (2012) received in excess of 200 entries, some as far as Arizona!
The NCHBC is sanctioned by the AHA/BJCP and the Canadian Brewer of the Year competition. Entries will be judged using the BJCP guidelines and judging format. In its second year, NCHBC remains an official part of the North American homebrewing competition circuit and will be providing entrants their first entry free of charge in order to increase participation.
