Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Why is it cheaper to drink in Montreal while the city infrastructure doesn't suck?
It's great that their subway system is so easy to access and takes you just about everywhere, but the infrastructure in Montréal is rotten. Bridges falling down, pieces of bridges falling down. Pieces of buildings falling down. Roads are brutal.
It's a great city, no doubt, but there are massive infrastructure issues there.

Maybe they don't pay the luxury tax, but they do pay some serious income tax (often on lower incomes)! And while they may have some infrastructure, it doesn't seem to be maintained very well.
In this world of uncertainty they're making some strange political moves... I think they're digging a deeper hole.

Don't damage your liver while drinking in Quebec. Or ever get sick for that matter. There is no medical infrastructure.

That's what happens when you contract with the mob.
The thread was about an article on illegal interprovincial liquor sales, which lead how alcohol sales in NB sucks, and how the situation is better in Quebec, to how Quebec's infrastructure are problematic and their health system is supposed to be bad.
