I would toss any ingredients that came with it. The hops are old now, and the yeast is probably not very viable any more.

But seriously I will look for a replacement grain/hop/yeast kit.

Toronto Brewing sells a wide variety of pre-made kits with fresh yeast (typicaly dry yeast, but you can get liquid if you want), hops and the appropriate malts, already milled. I'd look into those if I were you.[/i]

Thanks L - and sorry Mods to go way off topic, I will drag my noob ass over to BT Home Brewing forum for my pathetic one-gallon first attempt. Maybe I'll go for something no-fail that requires less maturation...
