Here's the first article, with an overview of some top bars & breweries in town, along with a bunch of events that have been announced. Looks like its going to be a great week as usual.

So I'll be in DC the same week as the Craft Brewers Conference. Anyone who has been to the conference... comments on how good/bad the situation will be for a non-industry guy like me at any of the big DC beer venues that week? In other words, will a place like Churchkey end up closed to the public one or more nights for industry events?
Just curious as to how this will affect my time in DC. Thanks!

Unlikely that places will be closed but they'll certainly be more crowded than usual. Last time CBC was in DC there were lines at quite a few beer bars that had reached capacity.rejtable wrote:So I'll be in DC the same week as the Craft Brewers Conference. yeah, that I figured on at minimum. That's fine, I can handle busy.
You probably won't find places closed to the public. They will be busy, however, as the bars in DC aren't very large. Last time the CBC was in DC most of the top beer places were pretty jammed. But it was a lot of fun with industry people everywhere.
