Maybe worth eleven bucks BUT with Old Rasputin available at the same time for SEVEN bucks ... no contest, for me!
As a newcomer to beer, I find Stone to be very good, but in our market, the pricing is above other available options of similar quality (ten fidy, hellwoods, etc).

I'm sure for some the choice is definitely not Stone. I'd put Stone over Rasputin which is I agree insanely well–priced, even next to our Ontario locals which makes the value even more insane. For me Stone > Ten Fidy > Hellwood & Old Raspy in a photo finish for third. Everyone gets a ribbon though. ;) What's important is actual choice to serve individual preference.

Mostly echoing other's thoughts. It's really not about Stone as I have the same attitude to Founders, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas etc. They are just too expensive with the exchange rate and likely to be past their prime. Really only Smutty Nose is still in the running for me. I occasionally buy a Finest Kind IPA as part of the rotation and I'll go out of my way eventually to figure out if 6 packs of robust porter are still being offered at the beer store.

If I'm going to drop $8 + on a bomber I'm getting super fresh Laser Show or something similar.
