Excellent news about the hazelnut...I knew it was coming but didn't realize that it had arrived ... any chance of seeing it in the LCBO any time soon?

Soon????? There is no such thing as soon when it comes to getting beers into the LCBO, however, we plan to pitch it as one of our offerings for the Winter 2002 promotion (November 2002), however, Rogue's are a tough sell because of the high price so we don't count on getting a sale. As you may already know, we have their Shakespeare Stout being launched by the LCBO in January, their Wild Irish Rogue in late February and their Brutal Bitter in March. We also expect to see a repeat of the Dead Guy in October. Unfortunately, none of our summer offerings from Rogue were selected for purchase.

Unusual that the LCBO is picking up both the Shakespeare and the Wild Irish ... Does the LCBO purchaser know that they are the same beer?

I guess if you can sell the same thing twice though, theres nothing to complain about

Yes, they do know it's the same beer but they're doing a special St. Patrick's Day release of 3 or 4 products and wanted something with an Irish theme. Actually, the Wild Irish bottle will become something of a collector's item as it is now only being done for Canada as Rogue has dropped it from it's domestic portfolio.

Just to inform everybody on bartowel that there is a review on Smokeless Joe in Eye magazine. The beers mentioned in bottles are all Espirit products.
