Check out the Budels pack as it contains 6 beers from a small Dutch brewery that we've never before seen in Canada...good value!

You're right; that's what the LCBO lists it as. Since the beers are brewed by Van Steenberge, though, I just called it the Van Steenberge gift pack.

Judging by the small number of ratings on Ratebeer, it might even be the first time we're seeing them in North America. Not much to go on from the ratings themselves, but Tim Webb rates the brewery pretty well, so it's probably worth buying.

Not sure for this one, but one I picked up in Hartford a few years ago had a bottle of Pater and a bottle of Agnus, along with a glass.

I'll be picking this pack up if I can find it.

I saw all of them except for the Samuel Smith and Van Steenberge (is that the same one from last year?) sets. They also had the Niagara Falls Eisbock with glass for $12.95 and "Historic Ales from Scotland".

Glad to see at least a few new beers. I'm looking forward to the Budels.

Joe.

I picked one up today along with 2 corsendonks and a Van Steenberge. The Christoffel Big Dutch Jug was there but I couldn't justify 30 Can-pesos for a growler of Blonde that was probably shipped and stored as well as displayed at room temp.

The gift boxes are now widely available (with the exception of Samuel Smith which has been delayed a bit). Just visit the LCBO website and do a Product Search and you'll see they're in many stores now.

2 330ml bottles and an impressive stemmed tulip glass.

1 Agnus, 1 Pater

That's "Agnus" not "Angus"...it's an abbey beer (Agnus is latin for lamb) not a Scotch Ale!
