Excellent. Prefer it over the Tripel. Can't wait.Wheatsheaf wrote:Coming in mid-September:

Still pretty hit and miss in my opinion, but I won't complain too much about this lineup. Not too bad, actually there are a few real good ones in there! I'm not upset, there's enough there to keep me happy until Winter Seasonals.
Only thing is, we'll have to see how long they last and where/when they'll be available...

I think the line-up looks good, with some decent repeats and a few new ones. I just had a Fuller's 1845 last night and was hoping this would return, but in the meantime, I'll look forward to trying out the Westmalle Dubbel, Burton Porter, O'Haras, and of course the latest Fuller's Vintage Ale - I will be trying the 2004 edition tonight.

Yeah, I was hoping they would have included the 1845, especially considering the one I had yesterday was my last!Jan Primus wrote: Lagerale you just had to mention the Fuller's 1845, damn I miss that beer and when I seen Fuller's on this list I had a breif hope that it was the excellent 1845. Hopefully, someday we'll see that one again.
I think it would make a great General List selection - I can picture it now sitting on the shelf between their London Pride and London Porter!

This is in my opinion the best Trappist/Abbey Double period. Has a little more character than Chimay Red. Absolute 10/10 for all around every day drinking.lagerale wrote:I'll look forward to trying out the Westmalle Dubbel...
Per my above, plus the fact that it is bottle conditioned and the fact that I turned my cold room with a fair bit of storage space into cooled beer cellar via a wine chiller , I'll be buying a 2 or 3 year supply. 10-12 cases should do it.biegaman wrote: Only thing is, we'll have to see how long they last and where/when they'll be available...
Look out I'll be buying out the GTA.
(Nah ... I promise I'll leave one or two bottles for you to try.)
