Is St. Ambroise pronounced "St. Ambrose", rhyming with "gross"?

More like Sant Um-Br-Waz but the second word pronounced quickly, together. Fine beer any way you look at it. (De la bien bonne biere!).

Try this: San Am-bwah.

The T at the end of "Saint" should be more-or-less silent.

You guys really are a funny bunch....I like it. Always fun to come see what's going on. Just for a little clarification though...because after the Saint there is a vowel..the 'T' at the end of Saint is given sound. As if to push off of it into the Ambroise. Phonetically-----Sein - TAmbrwahz

On a somewhat related note, has anyone seen or had the St-Ambroise Framboise in the GTA?

Tip: the 's' in French is never silent when followed by an 'e'.

Because it's very hard to explain the phonetics of a "t" followed by a "-"
