I noticed Trafalgar has some specially labeled "Pirate Festival' beers on the shelves.

There is no explanation about the beer itself. What is it? A quick look at the website did not help.

I love the way Trafalgar uses it's small scale agility to make special occasion runs, but a few extra clues on the packaging would be nice!

Read the other thread, Jer. They have the original name listed in small print on the labels.

The Elora Red Ale was particularly good. The Paddy's Red too but I thought the Elora really shone on this occasion.

Was there today and they have the experimental fruit beers bottled for testing in the 200ML bottles...DebauCherry bitter ale and Strwberry anti-social brown ale...the White Oak krystalweiss is on the shelf as well as the Critical mass and Korruptor strong ales.

Gotta say that krystal weiss is about the best they brew next to the bock

I swear I looked the labels over carefully.

I guess my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I think I heard hopps are good for the eyes somewhere, or is that just beer goggles... :P

I like the Paddy's Irish too, but I find it so often past it's prime I don't bother buying it anymore.
