I saw a newspaper ad for a local bar (D'Arcy McGee's) which surprised me by advertising '2 Pint Fridays' where you can get 2 pints of Guiness/Harp/whatever for $8 from 4 to 6 pm on Fridays. This looks like 'happy hour' to me, but I thought the government outlawed this kind of thing years ago.
Anyways, has anyone seen this kind of thing elsewhere?

There is a bar here in London that sells beer for less between 3-8, and then, from what I've been told because of Ontario law, it has to nlto sell alcohol for one hour. So between 8-9, you may not order a drink, but you can still sip on one you are having. Then at 9, they "re-open" and the drinks are quite a bit more, as it turns into a "club".
If you`re reading this, there`s a 15% chance you`ve got a significant drinking problem. Get it fixed, get recovered!
