How's the Cheshire Citra? I heard it's pretty great...

Had an Cameron's RPA
Then a Victory Storm Kind and seriously considering cracking a Rochefort 10...

Should I?
I liked it (the Cheshire), citra is my favourite hop, I originally wanted an Augusta, but they were out. Bust open the 10, I hold on to too many high calibre beers waiting for the right occasion. Sometimes you just have to have a good beer.
Done...let's face it...I rarely have special "beer" occasions...

But holy (literally), I haven't had this beer in, what, 3 years? One easily forgets how awesome it is.

Cale stopped by to check out the food truck garhering at Upper Gage Garage, and share his buffalo bounty. We split a can of Deviant Dale's IPA & a bottle of Founders Centennial IPA while digging into some Dobro Jesti schnitzel. Both were tasting bright and fresh, thanks! Schnitzel was pretty good too.

Drinking a GR Pugnacious Pale Ale after a run. Very quenching.

My wife is drinking my Westy 12 tonight after picking up the gift packs I pre-ordered in Alberta. Lucky gal. I'll be happy if she sends me half.

Last few days:

Sawdust City Golden Beach
Sixpoint Resin
Sixpoint Sweet Action

Really impressed with Sixpoint so far. Definitely going to pick up a 4-pack of Resin next time I'm in the States, and try some of their other stuff.

Last night: DFH Palo Santo Marron. Finally got around to trying this and it was fantastic. Like, really, really fantastic. I think it has changed my direction with beer.

Have an almost 4yr old bottle I'm cracking tonight; this beer was also a beer revelation for me when I began getting heavily into craft beer.

Had a Hacker-Pschorr Weisse at Castro's, one of the few beers that makes me crave an Erdinger. A bit dishwatery with off-flavors, a disservice to the Weissbier style in my opinion (I'm grabbing more Denisons when I see it and the Ayinger too!)

I raise my excessively tall Weizenbierglas & wish you all an amazing summer weekend!

Slowly thinning out the cellar some. Having a Old Crusty from '04, and later in the day will polish off my last of the '06 Liefmans Goudenband. Would happily stock up on both again.
