Day 1 in Rochester with JB84:
Founders Breakfast Stout - growler from premiere gourmet
Sixpoint Resin (cans)
Firestone Walker Wookey Jack - tap @ MacGregor's (east ave)
Firestone Walker Double Jack - tap @ MacGregor's
Oskar Blue's Deviant Dales - tap @ MacGregor's
Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin - cask @ Old Toad (asked for the ST Pumking on cask which was on the menu, wasn't told this is the only pumpkin on cask (out of 3) available, would have chose something else on tap if I was told there was no Pumking)
Jolly Pumpkin La Parcela - tap @ Old Toad
Anchorage Bitter Monk - bottle @ Old Toad
drunken mix of 1:1 Breakfast Stout and Resin - beer of the night, possibly because of little sleep, very little food, many drinks before, and a long day.

MacGregor's is best at Henrietta. If you have time, try to hit Tap & Mallet. Nice cask selection, and last time I was there they had de Ranke limbic on tap!

Meh. Too thin, too dry. Wish I only had bought one.

Had a small pumpkin themed get together this evening. More and less homemade pies & lots of great beer!
One of those Goedenavond bottles was a mislabeled BA Tempest, and a toast was made to Boney for providing the unexpected rarity
Highlight of the night might have been the Garrison 15 hop 15th Anniversary brew. And the Bellwoods bottle was Barrel Aged Grandma's Boy; opinions varied.
Thanks for coming out, and until next time...

Finally tried Weiss-O-Lantern last night at home with some Oktoberfest sausages from Sausage Partners* - really nice beer, though I thought that the Pumpkin and spices mingle a little too well with the hefeweizen profile. Almost couldn't pick them out.
*If you've never been to Sausage Partners, their just down the street from the Ceili Cottage. Sausage Partners supplies the Ceili with sausages and you can buy the same oysters that Patrick imports at Sausage Partners - awesome little gem.
