I don't always drink beer ... because sometimes my friends win and we have to go to macro-only establishments.

That's quote a bold statement. I had one of these a couple of weeks ago and thought it was really good but nowhere near one of the best barrel aged beers I have ever had. I actually preferred the non-BA 2010 that I tasted side-by-side with it.

Different strokes for different folks.

how many rating does the BA 2010 have on BA? i was only the second one to rate thebeer on RB.

the beer in my mind was perfect, the bourbon barrel was up front but not in any way obnoxious. the base beer was still vibrant, layered, complex but crazily drinkable fora beer this size.

what number was your bottle?

we had 594/700
