Vicaris Tripel/Gueuze.

This was 1/5 bottles that I recently mailed to myself from Alberta that froze on transport......beer in the bottom of the ziplock, despite the cap looking sealed and intact. This bottle self sealed and the beer is still good, with appropriate carbonation. A de Molen/Mikkeller Mikkel and Menno Weizenbock wasn't so lucky. Flat and sour. The other 3 bottles were Tilquin Gueuze. Their fate is yet unlnown. Fingers crossed.

Derniere Volonte. I always feel like the IPA part is missing from this.

Beautiful beer when it's 'on' which is usually 'On Tap' somewhere.

Same for DDC Aphrodisiaque, it's a whole 'nother level on draught at the brew pub (although I still buy cases of it cheaply at Provigo in Montreal.)

Yeah, I've had it on tap. It might just be that the hops blend too well. I had the Dunham Belge at the same sitting and it struck me as being more appropriate for the style, obvious Belgian yeast, but a focus on piney hops rather than well-incorporated citrus flavours.

- Charlevoix Chardonnay-barrel aged Strong Porter (draught)
- Loup Rouge Russian Imperial Stout (draught)
- Gouden Carolus Noel (draught)
- Bocquébière Special edition Acéro/Rouge des Cantons blend (bottled, only 9 made)

- Chouappe Imperial Brown ale matured in whiskey casks (draught)
- Oaked Unibroue Fin du Monde (bottles)
- 7-year old Bieropholie Imperial Stout (bottle)
- McAuslan Maple beer (meh, I see my mom really liking this though draught)
- Trefle Noir Imperial IPA (great, tasted like imperial Hop Devil)
- BDT pinot-noir barrel aged Diable au Corps (draught)
- Benelux some fancy Imperial Lager that tasted like ale (draught)
- Naufrageur Barleywine (draught)

And wednesday with friends
- Stone Scotch-barrel aged Highway 78 Scotch Ale (bottle, infected, crap! the one I had at Stone Gardens was sublime...)
- New Belgium Le Terroir 2010

Short's Huma Lupa Licious IPA. The bitterness is really reminding me of how Scotch Irish's Sgt. Major's IPA used to taste. I miss that old beer.

Radical Road Canny Man - quite tasty, just let this get to just below room temp and make sure you get the carbonation in your glass real low (carbonation right out of the bottle is almost champagne-like)...

Just had a Sixpoint The Crisp at Momofuku. Pretty good. Funny thing about pilsners - I never seek them out but always enjoy them.

This is also the first time I've seen a Sixpoint beer on a menu in Toronto, but then, I haven't been looking too hard...
