Greg posted about this a few months ago. He speculated that the restaurant brought it in as a private order through the Board.

Nothing Schmancy -

At home with a nice smashbomb and maybe I'll crack a Vicar's Vice later.

Last night at the Rhino, I had a full pint of the stuff for 5.25...and THAT's why I love the Rhino...

Beautiful beer when it's 'on' which is usually 'On Tap' somewhere.

Same for DDC Aphrodisiaque, it's a whole 'nother level on draught at the brew pub (although I still buy cases of it cheaply at Provigo in Montreal.)
I agree on the Aphrodisiaque....it's incredible on tap at the brewpub. I was there about a week and 1/2 ago and couldn't stop drinking it! Had it in bottles a while back and (while good) it's just not the same!

Simple Malt Cascade Plus IPA - Brasseurs Illimités

Very powerful caramel flavour takes centre stage with some earthy/herbal hops, not what I expected in a double IPA.

Does anyone else find that many IPAs from Quebec miss the mark on the hop character in IPAs and focus too much on the malt flavours? I've had about 8 or 10 now that just don't live up to the IPA style in terms of hop flavour.
