In Victoria, drank:

Hoyne IPA
Parallel 49 Hay Fever Saison
Gigantic Brewing Porter
Driftwood Crooked Coast Alt

And then went over & picked up at the bottle store:

3 Fontainen Oude Gueze Golden Blend
Upright Flora Rustica
Parallel 49 Humphrey Biere de Garde
Eleysian Super Fuzz Blood Orange Pale Ale
Logsdon Oak Aged Bretta

A good beer evening indeed...

Had a 3F Golden Blend last night....in comparison to the Armand & Tommy I had a couple days ago, I'd have to say I prefer the A&T....go figure. So, comparably, those are a bargain! :)

Augusta Ale Extra Hopped cask @ the Only.
w/ Natural Burger from Burger Shoppe Queen/Broadview
(... even though they still have the $5.00 Burger Week special extended for now, I really like the Natural - it's just not my thing to cover up good beef burger flavors even with very well-made chili.)

Cuvee des jacobins. Hopefully the sourness will numb my tongue to the shit beer I will have to drink at the concert tonight.

Heh, I still have one last bottle. Not sure what I'm waiting for, but as good as it is, I just have no desire to drink it. Maybe I can share it.

Beyond The Pale Hop On Your Face (not as good as the first time I had it...definite alcohol burn and sweetness that throws me off)
Charlevoix Vache Folle Simcoe DIPA (bit too much simcoe for me...prefer, say, GLB Johnny Simcoe)
Benelux/Zulogaarden Catapulte (definitely one of the best Quebec IPA's I've had)

Has this been brewed again, or was it an old bottle? I was under the (mistaken?) impression that Charlevoix's single hop DIPAs were a one-time only thing.

May 7th date on the back of the bottle. It's been appearing at all my usual Quebec beer stops across the river recently.

Admittedly I don't follow Quebec breweries as much as I should, but I believe most if not all of Charlevoix's single hop beers have been brewed multiple times. Perhaps the recipes have changed a bit, not sure.

They were pouring it at the Festibiere de Gatineau so I guess it's back.
