Last night at Al's Wine & Whiskey Lounge in Syracuse, NY:
Ommegang Witte (draught)
Good Nature Belgian IPA (draught)
Middle Ages ImPaled Ale (draught)

As Cass pointed out in the Syracuse thread, this sleepy college town seems to shut down on Sundays as there's very few bars open, but Al's serves food and booze until 2 and it proved to be an excellent stop. Great atmosphere, really good live music, and cheap, tasty eats (try the carnitas quesadillas), with a pretty impressive tap list considering they don't bill themselves as a beer bar. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in town on a Sunday.

I have. It's drinking nicely, similar to last year's, IIRC, with the ABV bumped up even slightly more. Anyway, I like it, but at its current price point, I can't justify many more bottles. I'll have it again on draught, for sure. Buy a couple bottles of Amsterdam's Autumn Hop instead, 'tis quite good, and is just hitting LCBO shelves now.

Shared a bottle over the weekend, it was pretty good, I thought if it had a higher abv, it would closely resemble a barley wine. Also, that was by far the tightest cork I've had to deal with, the cork actually broke in half (because of different tools we used trying to pry it off) and we had to use a corkscrew to get it out.

True dat (re: the cork). I also had to resort to a corkscrew after 5 minutes of twisting/tugging.
