Definately a good way to waste a Tuesday night.
That's an excellent set of beers! I'm planning on something similar later this year, with some other quads added to the mix and a few guys to share it with. I've heard the westy 12 and the st. bernardus are very similar, so it will be interesting to see if the absurd price point and demand for the westy is worth it.

I just got back from a weekend at my brother's in Indianapolis, and tried over 20 beers that I had never had before, along with bringing back 20 bottles of stuff I've never tried before either, which I'll be writing about in future posts.

The highlights (all on draught at various locations):
Founders Imperial Stout
Victory Hop Devil
Spaten Maibock
Weihenstephaner Hefewissbier Dunkel
Goose Island 312
Bells Two Hearted Ale
Dogfish Head 90 Minuite Imperial IPA
Brugge Tripel de Ripple

The ok beers:
Granite City Food & Brewery - six different beers, all drinkable, but forgettable
Brugge White
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Barley Island Dirty Helen
Bells Oberion
Guinness 250
Sam Adams Holiday Porter

The beers that didn't impress:
Shiner Bock
Fat Tire Amber Ale
Sam Adams White
Sam Adams Blackberry Wheat
Sam Adams Pale Ale

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Leave them by your blue bin...you'll make a dumpster diver very happy.

ISO - a last Wed vintage Coors light.
FT - a last Friday (.... and possibly a Westy 8 to sweeten the deal?)

Trying some of the bottles I brought back from Indy. Today I had:

Sierra Nevada Porter
Mission Street India Pale Ale
Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale
Fat Weasel Ale
Trinity Red Ale

And finishing the evening with a Southern Tier Ja-Va.

A can of Neustadt Bruce County Lager with dinner.

A can of Surly Bender for dessert.

And I'm about to have a Dogfish Head India Brown Ale for second dessert.

The end.

A Phillips Black Toque Dark India Ale.....no idea what a "dark india ale" really is. Ratebeer lists it as an American Strong, but it comes off more like a good hoppy stout to me. Whatever it is, it's fabulous. Another criminally underrated beer from a criminally underrated brewer, IMO.

Finally went took the subway downtown to the beerbistro for the first time. Tried some delirium tremens on tap, and a bottle on pannepot grand reserva 2005- probably my favorite of any beer i've drank, it hurts that its painfully expensive...
