was hoping you'd say " pairs well with blue cheese or chili coconut chocolate curry" ... ants work well... i guess.Belgian wrote:It's good. Grapey. chocolatey, and has an earthy-herbal presence. Not an earth shattering beer but very tasty. Would pair well with biting ants.bartle wrote:Belgian wrote:

Tell me how it is. I have some aging away. I am predicting the 2 year mark to be beautiful.

Dogfish Head Liquor de Malt.
I poured a little out for all my homies.
My first ever 40 of malt liquor. And probably, despite all their eccentric offerings, the first DFH offering to impress me as being an authentically, respectfully and tastefully unique beer. Still, finishing the whole 40 is kind of a stomach wrenching task. Also, my head is swimming in it...

finished off last night with a long trail brewmasters double ipa. Very nice ipa. Hid the 8.6 percent well and had a nice balance between citrus and pine flavors. Also had a few st ambroise oatmeal stouts, and a true north ipa or 2. True north is an excellent pale ale. You cant get much better for the price right now in ontario.

For my daughter's 3rd birthday with family, some homebrew, Nøgne Ø 100, Equinoxe de Printemps, and an Orval 2008 as I clean up.
