I sampled one last night at a tasting and I have one at home, really great, I may consider saving mine for the summer.Inkling wrote:Cracked open the first of my Panils...and wow....great! Definitely reminds me of Rodenbach and the good old days when it used to be available regularly at the SAQ. It's pricey but I hope we see this one again.
Right now, I'm having a Lava.

Started in on a growler of taps new Imperial IPA. This is my second time trying it and it is starting to grow on me. At first I found it way to bitter and not enough hop flavor. Right now it tastes like I am chewing on some hop pellets. Long lingering bitterness with some citrus and peach type flavors in the middle. Tiny bit of malt sweetness to balance it out. It is listed as 7.3% abv and 100 ibus. Look forward to many growler fills of this beer.
