Southern Tier, 2XIPA.

Good but not great. Glad I didn't go overboard like I did with that bullshit Brutal "IPA".

That's the one. Wasn't planning on having a beer there till I saw Sam Adams Seasonal on the menu and asked which one it was. Was pleasantly surprised.

I helped conduct an Avery Brewing Showcase tasting last night at the Bushwakker Brewpub. Here are the beers we presented, and the average scores (out of 50):

1. The Czar Russian Imperial Stout - 42.69
2. Dugana Imperial IPA - 40.01
3. Ellie's American Brown Ale - 39.57
4. The Reverend Belgian Style Quadrupel - 39.55
5. IPA - 39.22
6. White Rascal Wit - 37.00
7. Salvation Belgian Style Golden Strong - 36.51
8. Samael's Oak-Aged Ale - 36.28
9. Ale To The Chief Commemorative Pale Ale - 36.07

Samael's was the best by far, and the Czar was too boozy, but the organizer's scores don't count!

GLB Crazy Canuck
Brasseur du Montreal Coeur Brise
Rogue Northwestern Ale

It might be the beer talking, but I want to see the Refreshmutts attack the Cheetah Energy Drink goalie.

Do they make Couer Brise in Vancouver? I'd almost rather the Laffs win the cup than Boston

That's rough. Nobody actually wants the Leafs to win.

Not actually being a hockey fan (used to be a Sens fan when I was a kid despite being born in Toronto), I decided to consume copious amounts of beer tonight anways.

So far have enjoyed SA Noble Pils and ST 2xIPA. May continue with those two, or if I'm feeling really mediocre I'll go for that bomber of Rogue Somer Honey and Orange whateverthehell Ale I bought for no damn good reason.
