2010-11 Summit Winter Ale - not really meant for aging, but held up well and drank nicely at cellar temps

Yukon Arctic Red - bought a 6-pack this summer. All of them are very metallic/blood-like. This was the last one. Had a couple sips to verify and dumped it down the drain.

Haven't tried that one yet. I thought the Wildcard (single hop galaxy) and oatmeal stout were both quite tasty. Sampled the amber at the brewery and it was either off or not good at all.

Edit: Was at Grumpy's in Montreal tonight. Shot of Jameson followed by a St. Ambroise Pale Ale and a Belle Gueule Pilsner (only $4 for the pils on Mondays).

At tonight's Grand River Winter Warmers tasting
-Fuller's Winter Warmer
-Great Lakes Winter Warmer
-Grand River Jubilation 2010
-Grand River Jubilation 2011
-Grand River Ginger Ale (this one must go into production, very nice)
-Traquair Jacobite

the 2010 was nice and rounded, nice to compare what a year will do. The Ginger Ale was amazing. And as an added bonus, the Russian Gun I bought there had a bottling date of today, I`ve had it aged before, but never in less than a day in the bottle.

Goose Island Bourbon County Stout (2010). This is a very good beer, but it always fails to live up to the hype for me. It is certainly worth buying and cellaring, but not given how difficult it is to acquire these days.

I think the 2011 was spiced while the 2010 was not, at least that is what I was told when I picked up my bottles

Easily the best ginger beer I've had. I hope they make it the summer seasonal this year.

Yes, they had the spice listing on the sheet, but I forgot to bring it home with me.

Rogue Somer Orange Honey Ale. Bought one of these before they disappeared off the LCBO shelves in summer, it sat in my fridge for 6 months, still tasted fine.

Not of the ginger, it was out of a cooler. They used fresh peeled and grated ginger so I imagine scaling it up would be quite the task.
