How is this drinking? Based on the name, style, and the fact that I love nearly all of SN's beers, I'll probably be hunting it down on my next U.S. trip.

Charlevoix DV Dubbel, very satisfying. Dubbel covers a lot of range other beers do not. (A bit earthy-mineral, salty, even a bit meaty, dark fruit with just a trail of hop bittering, aromas a bit wild.)

It has been excellent. Rye dominates the palate with loads of fresh cirtus hops right after. Reminds me of taps rye knot, but turned to 11.

After looking over sierra's site it says this beer contains a prototype hop. Very interesting

Erdinger Dark. I've only had this once before, and thought I'd try it again. The first time, it struck me as quite light in flavour. It's the same the second time. Nice and fresh, with all the right elements including some chocolatey malt, but I'd prefer a "bigger" taste.

I always felt the same about the Erdinger Dark - Found it fairly pedestrian and lacking something as far as taste goes.

Enjoying a Breakfast Stout tonight.

Picked up a Charlevoix DV Double today and yesterday a client at work surprised me with a Brasseurs Du Monde Saison Imperial and a Le Trois Mousquietaires Porter Baltique.

Prescott Ponderosa IPA. Delicious. Good stuff comes from Arizona, apparently.

Garrison Black IPA. Where's the roast in this one? Decent enough beer but not what I expect from a Black IPA.
